People are still mad over GitS having Kusanagi played by someone white, even when Japanese people said they think its fine, and the original DIRECTOR of the animated film tried to explain how she could be either white or asain since she isn’t even human to begin with, and basically no Japanese person is making up as much of a fuss as white kids on tumblr are who barely know shit about the franchise to begin with.

What’s probably the funniest part about this is how little they want to listen to actual Japanese people who brought the original to life tell them they’re wrong for being offended.

Funny how every story can’t be enjoyed unless the races are “correct” for some people.
